Who we are

Luna is a clienteling platform operated by ADAMO LONDON LTD, registered in England and Wales, 48 Brompton Road, London SW3 1BW. Luna is used by luxury boutiques to manage client relationships and communications.

For questions about this policy or your data, contact privacy@useluna.co.uk.

Who this policy is for

This policy covers two groups:

If you are a client of a boutique that uses Luna, that boutique is the data controller for your information and Luna acts as a processor on their behalf. Requests about your data should ordinarily go to the boutique directly, though you may also contact us at the address above.

What we collect

From boutique staff: name, email address, role, and activity within the application.

From boutique clients, as entered or synced by the boutique: name, phone number, email address, purchase history, sizes and fit preferences, product preferences, appointment records, notes recorded by advisors, and WhatsApp message history with the boutique.

Purchase and customer data is synced from the boutique's point-of-sale and e-commerce systems. WhatsApp messages are received and sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta.

We do not collect payment card details, government identification numbers, or special category data.

Why we process it

We process this information to provide the Luna service to boutiques: maintaining client records, enabling advisors to communicate with clients over WhatsApp, surfacing clients who may benefit from contact, and scheduling appointments.

The lawful basis is legitimate interest for boutique staff data. For client data, the boutique's own lawful basis applies as controller — usually legitimate interest for service communications, and consent for marketing messages.

WhatsApp

Messages sent and received through Luna are transmitted via the WhatsApp Business Platform and are subject to Meta's own terms and privacy practices. Message content is stored in Luna so that boutique staff can access conversation history. Marketing messages are sent only where the client has given consent.

Where data is stored

Client and message data is stored on cloud infrastructure hosted in Ireland (European Union). Transfers outside the EEA, where they occur, rely on standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Client records are retained for as long as the boutique maintains an active relationship with the client, and are deleted at the boutique's instruction. Message history is retained for the same period. Staff accounts are deleted when access is revoked.

Sub-processors

We use third-party providers for cloud hosting and database services, messaging infrastructure, AI-assisted translation and summarisation, and transactional email. A current list of sub-processors is available on request.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law, and under KVKK in Türkiye, you have the right to access your data, correct it, request its deletion, restrict or object to processing, and request portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.

To exercise these rights, contact the boutique that holds your record, or write to us at privacy@useluna.co.uk. We respond within one month.

Automated decision-making

Luna surfaces clients who have not made a purchase recently, and generates summaries of purchase history to assist advisors. These are aids to human judgement. No decision producing legal or similarly significant effects is made automatically.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified to boutiques using Luna, and the date at the top of this page will be revised.
